What is a cosmetic bottle making machine?
Plastic cosmetic bottle making machine is used to manufacture containers that can hold and store cosmetics. Cosmetic bottles usually need to meet relevant standards and have a stylish appearance. Therefore, high-quality PMMA materials and perfect injection molding technology are required.
What are the characteristics of cosmetic bottles in finished product requirements
While acrylic is less fluid than PS and ABS, melt viscosity is more sensitive to temperature changes. In the cosmetic bottle injection molding process, we can adjust the injection temperature to find the best melt viscosity. PMMA is an amorphous polymer with a melting temperature greater than 160°C and a decomposition temperature as high as 270°C.
What are the production processes of cosmetic bottles
Acrylic has a certain water absorption rate of about 0.3-0.4%, but the injection molding process requires about 0.1%-0.04%.
High humidity can cause bubbles, gas lines and reduced clarity during melting. So acrylic must be dry before injection molding.
Usually, the drying temperature is set between 80-90°C, and the drying time is less than 3 hours.
In some cases, recycled materials can be used 100%. The actual percentage depends on quality requirements and is usually around 30%.
Recycled material should avoid contamination, otherwise it will affect the transparency and performance of the finished product.

What is the standard for cosmetic bottles
The manufacture of cosmetic bottles must comply with local laws, regulations and safety standards before they can be sold. So be sure to meet the following criteria:
ISO 22715
ISO 22715:2006 specifies requirements for packaging and labelling of all cosmetic products as defined according to national regulations or practices intended for sale or free distribution.
FDA
The United States Food and Drug Administration is a federal agency of the Department of Health and Human Services.
AQL standard
According to the AQL standard, quality defects are classified as "critical", "major" or "minor". And in every cosmetic packaging inspection, major defects are not accepted because it can seriously affect the use and customer experience.
No matter which inspection level you are in, AQL Standard 0/1.5/2.5 Critical/Major/Minor Defects are commonly used for cosmetic packaging inspection.
